About Coach Robby

Robby Cable is a dedicated fitness and sports performance coach in the Washington D.C. / Maryland / Virginia region. He began his academic and athletic journey at Hagerstown Community College (MD), where he pursued college baseball from 2019–2020. Robby then continued his education at Marymount University (Arlington, VA), graduating with a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science while competing in collegiate baseball at the NCAA Division III level.​Robby has earned a Master’s degree in Kinesiology at Avila University and playing collegiate baseball at the NAIA level through Spring 2025. Over the past several years, Robby has coached and mentored thousands of athletes across all ages and skill levels. Robby’s professional experience includes working with Black’s Athletic Club, a private performance facility in Bethesda, MD, and Homefield KC Sports Performance Center. In addition, he is the owner of Tidal Fitness LLC, which partners with Tidal Beach Volleyball in Alexandria, VA to develop middle school to high school female volleyball athletes. Currently, Robby is the assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at Marymount University training all 23 varsity teams.

His philosophy blends strength and conditioning, skill development, and mental preparation to help athletes reach their full potential—both on and off the court.
