Born to Compete

Welcome to Tidal Beach Volleyball Club, located in Northern Va! From coaching young athletes on the ins-and-outs of the sport to honing their athletic skills, we’re proud to teach not only the love of the game, but to also impart the ideals of good sportsmanship, teamwork and loyalty. Our club trains athletes 13u-18u.

Tidal BVC is founded and led by former NCAA and NAIA Beach Volleyball athletes, former NCAA coaches, NCAA Men's and Women's Volleyball players, and semi-professional players. Our program is also mentored by top-tier professional and international coaches. All training at Tidal BVC is supported by professionals with experience at the USAV and AVP levels. We believe in the power of mentorship and continual growth. Our athletes benefit from training methods and drills inspired by Former World Series Champions, Beach All-Americans, and current and former NCAA Division I, II, and III coaches.

Beach volleyball is one of the fastest growing women's sport in college athletics. For every high school beach volleyball athlete, 13% of those go on to play in college. Compared to indoor high school athletes that only have 4% go on to play in college. This is due to the growing number of universities adding beach programs every season and full rosters to fill each year.

Beach volleyball is a great way to increase athleticism, mental toughness, court communication, and vertical jump. In the sand, athletes have to be quick and communicate well with their partner. These are skills that even the most talented indoor player can utilize to further their athletic career.

For our advanced athletes ready to compete in National Qualifiers, we’re introducing Tidal National. This tryout-based group will have two 2-hour practices each week, designed to sharpen advanced skills, enhance game strategies, and prepare for the highest levels of competition.

Our original Tidal programs without tryouts will still be offered: High School athletes will practice every Tuesday and Thursday from 5–6 PM, and Middle School athletes will follow from 6–7 PM, starting May 27th through July 31st. These two 1-hour practices weekly are designed to improve agility, teamwork, vertical, and confidence.
