Coach
Joe Crowder
I started playing volleyball in sixth grade and played for BRYC, Arlington Elite, and The St. James. We qualified for Boys Jr. Nationals every year I played. I also qualified for beach nationals when I played in high school and was invited to the National/A1/A2 open try out in Manhattan Beach, California.
I was recruited to play at a number of schools, but chose Marymount University where I set and played libero. I was a two-year captain for the team in my junior and senior years. My sophomore year, we advanced to the NCAA tournament and were consistently ranked in the top 20 teams nationally during my time with the team.
I’ve coached the Marymount summer camps every summer since my freshman year, as well as the Men’s Volleyball prospect camps. I served as a manager/statistical analyst for our Women’s volleyball team in the Fall of 2024 where the team won the Atlantic East Conference championship and advanced to the NCAA tournament.
Currently, I have spent some time practicing and playing with the DC Dynasty organization.
